Job Description

As a Practice Manager at Northern Beaches Endodontics located in Dee Why, NSW, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and smooth operation of the practice. This permanent full-time position (Part Time considered) offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to lead and manage our team. 

Here's what your role will look like:

  • Being responsible for the amazing end to end patient experience and engagement
  • Leading, mentoring and supporting the practice team, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Being a key leader in the business development for the practice - building relationships with general dentists and managing the referral program 
  • Overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the dental practice
  • Managing practice costs, patient scheduling, billing, and collections to ensure seamless financial operations
  • Coordinating with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and exceptional customer service
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and protocols required in the industry
  • Implementing marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones
  • Monitoring inventory levels and liaising with suppliers to maintain adequate stock of office supplies

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in a dental practice environment where you are confident to train and engage the team
  • Capability and willingness to engage with the referral network 
  • Experience managing patient rebooking rate, Google reviews, practice revenue, cost management and team retention
  • Energetic and hands-on approach, with the willingness to be hands on at reception daily
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Solid understanding of dental regulations, compliance, and infection control - ideally in a specialist practice
  • Confidence using dental software and patient management systems
  • An enthusiastic leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast paced and growing practice
  • A working style that is calm under pressure and professional at all times

  • A positive team player who supports and motivates others
  • Adaptable and open to continuous improvement and change
